Service update: October 2020

Following the latest guidance from the government, we’re making some additional changes to how we work to keep you and us safe.

Most of our staff are continuing to work from home. We’ve found this works well and are able to operate as normal with no disruption to how we work. We will always have at least one member of staff based in the office, so we can accept deliveries and repairs.

We will continue to carry out repairs and upgrades in our office, as we have the specialist tools and equipment available to us (such as Electrostatic Discharge mats to protect your equipment during repair).

If you are unable to visit us to bring a machine in for repair, we may be able to arrange collection or an on-site repair. Please get in touch with us to find out more.

If you need any help working from home, please do get in touch and we can offer support and advise based on our personal experience and from working with our clients.

Site Visits

We will continue to carry out site visits only where needed. As much as we love seeing you in person and having a catch up, in the interest of public safety we will be continuing to only visit site where truely neccessary.

When we visit site, we will limit our contact with you, and will try to visit when you are not in the building or as few people are in the building as possible.

Visiting us, or bringing in your device for repair

What you need to do before you visit us

You must pre-book an appointment with us before you visit - click on Arrange to visit us at the top of the page to make a booking, or give us a call.

Download the NHS COVID-19 app on your smartphone and follow the instructions to set it up.

You can download the app here: https://www.nhs.uk/apps-library/nhs-covid-19/

This is a legal requirement and will allow local authorities to notify you or us if either of us tests positive for COVID-19.

Do not visit the office if you, or anyone you live with, have had any of the following symptoms in the last 2 weeks:

  1. A high temperature - (this means you feel hot to the touch on your chest or back) - you do need to measure your temperature

  2. A new, continuous cough- this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more continuous coughing episodes in 24 hours - if you usually have a cough, it will be worst than normal

A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste - this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

What to do when you arrive

  1. Scan the QR Code in the window using your NHS COVID-19 app.

  2. When arriving, please press the door bell and wait for someone to come to the door. Do not enter the office until asked to do so.

  3. You MUST wear a face covering during your entire visit, and you may not remove your face covering whilst in our office. If you are unable to do so, please notify us before your visit or you may not be allowed to enter our office.

  5. Do not touch any surfaces unnecessarily
